From 4552fd50d959ab99546cfa994f8ba5bdf5d66bc7 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Marek Olšák Date: Tue, 24 Apr 2012 20:58:47 +0200 Subject: gallium: add void *user_buffer in pipe_vertex_buffer This reduces CPU overhead in st_draw_vbo and removes a lot of unnecessary code in that function which was required only to comply with the gallium interface, but wasn't any useful really. Adapted drivers: i915, llvmpipe, r300, softpipe. No changes required in: r600, radeonsi. User vertex buffers have been disabled in nv30, nv50, nvc0 and svga to keep things working. --- src/gallium/include/pipe/p_state.h | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) (limited to 'src/gallium/include/pipe/p_state.h') diff --git a/src/gallium/include/pipe/p_state.h b/src/gallium/include/pipe/p_state.h index 42510a685bf..f281791eead 100644 --- a/src/gallium/include/pipe/p_state.h +++ b/src/gallium/include/pipe/p_state.h @@ -447,6 +447,7 @@ struct pipe_vertex_buffer unsigned stride; /**< stride to same attrib in next vertex, in bytes */ unsigned buffer_offset; /**< offset to start of data in buffer, in bytes */ struct pipe_resource *buffer; /**< the actual buffer */ + const void *user_buffer; /**< pointer to a user buffer if buffer == NULL */ }; -- cgit v1.2.3
