* freedreno: one screen to rule them allRob Clark2015-09-161-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | Similar to fee0686c21c631d96d6042741267a3c218c23ffc, but in this case to ensure that drm_gralloc and libGLES_mesa are sharing a single screen. Bumps libdrm_freedreno version dependency, as it requires the new fd_device_fd() API. Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <[email protected]>
* freedreno: cap cleanupsRob Clark2015-08-121-0/+8
| | | | | | | | Move a few things around to group stuff that is common to a3xx/a4xx together. Also, introduce is_ir3() for things that are more specific to the compiler / shader-ISA than to the gpu generation. Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <[email protected]>
* gallium: replace INLINE with inlineIlia Mirkin2015-07-211-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Generated by running: git grep -l INLINE src/gallium/ | xargs sed -i 's/\bINLINE\b/inline/g' git grep -l INLINE src/mesa/state_tracker/ | xargs sed -i 's/\bINLINE\b/inline/g' git checkout src/gallium/state_trackers/clover/Doxyfile and manual edits to src/gallium/include/pipe/p_compiler.h src/gallium/README.portability to remove mentions of the inline define. * freedreno/ir3: introduce ir3_compiler objectRob Clark2015-06-211-1/+3
| | | | | | | | Right now, just provides a cleaner way to get at the gpu-id, given the separation between compiler and context. But we will need this also to hold the reg-set for new register allocation. Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <[email protected]>

* freedreno: add is_a3xx()/is_a4xx() helpersRob Clark2014-12-131-0/+12
| | | | | | | | A bunch of open-coded 'gpu_id > 300's seems like it will eventually cause problems with future generations. There were already a few minor problems with caps for features that still need additional work on a4xx. Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <[email protected]>

| | | | | | | Opps, I should use larger fonts, I guess. Reported-by: Ilia Mirkin <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <[email protected]>
* freedreno/a3xx: enable/disable wa's based on patch-levelRob Clark2014-07-251-1/+9
| | | | | | | | It seems like for the most part, different behaviors, workarounds, etc, should be conditional on GPU patch revision (ie. a320.0 vs a320.2) rather than GPU id (a320 vs a330). Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <[email protected]>
* freedreno: prepare for a3xxRob Clark2013-06-081-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Split the parts that are specific to adreno a2xx series GPUs from the parts that will be in common with a3xx, so that a3xx support can be added more cleanly. Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <[email protected]>
* freedreno: gallium driver for adrenoRob Clark2013-03-111-0/+70
Currently works on a220. Others in the a2xx family look pretty similar and should be pretty straightforward to support with the same driver. The a3xx has a new shader ISA, and while many registers appear similar, the register addresses have been completely shuffled around. I am not sure yet whether it is best to support with the same driver, but different compiler, or whether it should be split into a different driver. v1: original v2: build file updates from review comments, and remove GPL licensed header files from msm kernel v3: smarter temp/pred register assignment, fix clear and depth/stencil format issues, resource_transfer fixes, scissor fixes Signed-off-by: Rob Clark <[email protected]>
