| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Tungsten Graphics Inc. was acquired by VMware Inc. in 2008. Leaving the old copyright name is creating unnecessary confusion, hence this change. This was the sed script I used: $ cat tg2vmw.sed # Run as: # # git reset --hard HEAD && find include scons src -type f -not -name 'sed*' -print0 | xargs -0 sed -i -f tg2vmw.sed # # Rename copyrights s/Tungsten Gra\(ph\|hp\)ics,\? * gallium: Add support for 32x32 muls with 64 bit resultsZack Rusin2013-10-091-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The code introduces two new 32bit integer multiplication opcodes which can be used to produce correct 64 bit results. GLSL, OpenCL and D3D10+ require them. We use two seperate opcodes, because they match the behavior of GLSL and OpenCL, are a lot easier to add than a single opcode with multiple destinations and because there's not much (any) difference wrt code-generation. * tgsi: implement new float comparison instructions returning integer masksRoland Scheidegger2013-08-131-0/+26
| | | | | | | | Also while here add a bunch of other forgotten (integer) instructions to tgsi_util_get_inst_usage_mask() (which isn't used for much except optimizing away unused input components), though it may still be incomplete. Reviewed-by: Zack Rusin <[email protected]>
* tgsi: add buffer texture to tgsi_util_get_texture_coord_dim()Chia-I Wu2013-05-271-0/+2
| | | | | | | | TGSI_TEXTURE_BUFFER is one-dimensional. Assert that exec_tex() is never called with TGSI_TEXTURE_BUFFER. Signed-off-by: Chia-I Wu <[email protected]> Reviewed-by: Brian Paul <[email protected]>
* tgsi: add tgsi_util_get_texture_coord_dim()Chia-I Wu2013-05-081-0/+91
| | | | | | | | | | | | This util function returns the dimension of the texture coordinates for a texture target, and the location of the shadow reference value. For example, when the texture target is TGSI_TEXTURE_SHADOW2D, the dimension of the texture coordinates is 2, and the location of the ref value is 2 (that is, the Z channel). * tgsi: use separate structure for indirect address v2Christian König2013-03-191-0/+18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | To further improve the optimization of source and destination indirect addressing we need the ability to store a reference to the declaration of the addressed operands. Since most of the fields in tgsi_src_register doesn't apply for an indirect addressing operand replace it with a separate tgsi_ind_register structure and so make room for extra information. v2: rename Declaration to ArrayID, put the ArrayID into () instead of [] Signed-off-by: Christian König <[email protected]>
* gallium: add defines/shader opcode for texture cube map arrayDave Airlie2012-11-091-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This just adds the texture target and capability along with 3 new opcodes required to support this extension. As this extension requires some texture opcodes with samp + 5 args, we need to use another src register, this is only required for TEX, TXL and TXB opcodes to implement this spec. TEX2 is required for shadow cube map arrays TXL2 is required for cube map array sampler + explicit lod TXB2 is required for cube map array sampler + lod bias Reviewed-by: Brian Paul <[email protected]> Signed-off-by: Dave Airlie <[email protected]>
* gallium: add TGSI support for multisample texturesMarek Olšák2012-08-151-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | The only allowed instructions are TXQ_LZ and TXF. TXQ_LZ is like TXQ, but without the LOD parameter (which is always zero with MSAA textures) The 3rd or the 4th texcoord component in TXF should contain the sample index for a 2D_MSAA or 2D_ARRAY_MSAA texture, respectively.
* tgsi: add TGSI_TEXTURE_SHADOWCUBEMAPDave Airlie2012-01-111-0/+1
| | | | | | | | This adds support for shadow cubemap texture sampling instructions. This is required for GL 3.0. Signed-off-by: Dave Airlie <[email protected]>

* tgsi: fix incorrect usage_mask for shadow tex instructionsBrian Paul2010-09-151-5/+6
| | | | | | The shadow versions of the texture targets use an extra component (Z) to express distance from light source to the fragment. Fixes the shadowtex demo with llvmpipe.
* tgsi: Determine which shader input channels are effectively.José Fonseca2010-06-011-0/+146
| | | | | | TGSI's UsageMask flag is never set. We can move this logic into tgsi_ureg, but there there are still cases where's not used, so this seems a better place for now.

* tgsi: rename fields of tgsi_full_src_register to reduce verbosityKeith Whitwell2009-11-241-12/+12

* gallium: simplify tgsi tokens furtherKeith Whitwell2009-11-241-22/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Drop anonymous 'Extended' fields, have every optional token named explicitly in its parent. Eg. there is now an Instruction.Label flag, etc. Drop destination modifiers and other functionality which cannot be generated by tgsi_ureg.c, which is now the primary way of creating shaders. Pull source modifiers into the source register token, drop the second negate flag. The source register token is now full - if we need to expand it, probably best to move all of the modifiers to a new token and have a single flag for it.
* gallium: remove extended negate also, and also the ExtSwz tokenKeith Whitwell2009-10-231-52/+1
| | | | | | Likewise, the extended negate functionality hasn't been used since mesa switched to using tgsi_ureg to build programs, and has been translating the SWZ opcode internally to a single MAD.
* gallium: remove the swizzling parts of ExtSwizzleKeith Whitwell2009-10-231-71/+3
| | | | | | | | | These haven't been used by the mesa state tracker since the conversion to tgsi_ureg, and it seems that none of the other state trackers are using it either. This helps simplify one of the biggest suprises when starting off with TGSI shaders.
* util: Move p_debug.h into util module.José Fonseca2009-02-181-1/+1
| | | | | The debug functions depend on several util function for os abstractions, and these depend on debug functions, so a seperate module is not possible.
